hotel lives up to it's name very Grand. friendly staff in general but obvious in some instances that the training overtakes common sense to the point that the waiter wouldn't let me walk from the bar to my table with my drinks, very annoying and nearly caused a disagreement. food excellent, location ...
Really GOOD hotel with many facilities including gym. The family deluxe room was massive & could have slept more people. The pool was huge, all one depth, but not really right height to suit younger children.
Had a one night stay as a treat. Staff very friendly and welcoming and room sumptuous. Posh but not stuffy. Had an excellent meal -recommend apple crumble soufflé.
An initial minor incident was dealt with very swiftly, efficiently and without drama. The stay was very comfortable, service was excellent and breakfast was a great start to the day. The building and the grounds are beautiful.
Staff really friendly and helpful. Excellent location. Food amazing. Lovely indoor pool area with spa and gym facilities. Room clean and well set out. Can't fault. Will be going back again.
