We stayed at the Grand for a 60th birthday. The spa was over priced and there is no pool! We had afternoon tea which in our opinion was also over priced at £29.95 with no glass of fizz (which you get at Browns for £19.95)! The rooms were nice and we were upgraded but due to the scaffolding we had ...
Only stayed one night but would have happily stayed more . All staff were exceptionally friendly and we throughly enjoyed our stay . Evening meal and breakfast was delicious and the cocktails were amazing. Thank you everyone at Drakes .
I booked a stay to have some soul nurturing time out on the eve of my 50th birthday. I had never stayed in such a grand hotel so l had high expectations. Wow....l had the most amazing experience, from the parking lot through checking In, the spa, the most delicious room service dinner served beautifully, ...
An initial minor incident was dealt with very swiftly, efficiently and without drama. The stay was very comfortable, service was excellent and breakfast was a great start to the day. The building and the grounds are beautiful.
Great location near the beach as well as shopping, bars and restaurants. Easy walk to Brighton Pier, The Lanes and Cultural Quarter. Lovely, helpful staff. Room was nicely appointed and clean. Would stay again.

It seemed they couldn't cope with more than a few people at a time, and forgot ...
The experience was so wonderful we have booked up for later this year and have also booked a night for my parents birthday. Everything was perfect and at the highest level. The touches the hotel makes really add to an already first class experience.
Had an amazing trip. The staff were absolutely amazing and welcoming from the moment we walked in through the door. Check in only took a few seconds. The room was warm and comfortable. The staff were also very informative. Stayed there for two nights paid for breakfast included and the staff were ...
Stayed here overnight and generally pleased with the experience although in hindsight we’d probably find a local restaurant rather than dine in the hotel. Although the food was ok it was over priced for what it was and the £8 surcharge for the steak was definitely not worth the money. That said breakfast ...
