Lovely clean room, helpful staff. Breakfast choices and evening meals were very good, would highly recommend the fish pie. Would certainly stay there again.

We were greeted with a friendly welcome by the host whom also offered to carry bags up to our room, greatly appreciated. The room and bathroom had a magnificent view over the harbour and we then realise this is a gem of a place to have a weekend break from it all. Lovely stay for 3 nights. Clean, comfortable room with a great hospitality tray. Everything you could think of/need. Fluffy large towels and top quality offerings. Great value for money. A lovely breakfast offering too with hot and cold selections. Friendly helpful staff

All staff were friendly and welcoming...our room was very comfortable and clean. Shower was excellent Food was of very high quality and lots of it Recommend the Steak & Ale pie with Garlic Mash & Fish n Chips The local ale was lovely...and local gins and isle of wight whisky went down well. We stayed 4 nights and everything was spot on. The location was perfect being just round the corner from the ferry, but quiet ( no driving around at the end of a long journey).The pub was very well laid out with plenty of room in the bar, lounge and dining areas. Our stay was luvly, right qhere we wanted to be very cl8se to the beach, rooms very comfortable and clean.Rosemary and David are very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts are brilliant, we had something different each day and no complaints from us and the warm lemon drizzle cake was divine.

Booked this for a one night stay to attend Tom Jones concert. Found room to be spotless. Very comfortable with a lovely view towards the sea. Room a little small if you were staying for a week or more. However, for a short stay it was perfect. I would stay again and recommend to others. Breakfast was good and a very pleasant young lady in the restaurant to serve you.

This is the second time that I've stayed here as I have family nearby. Have enjoyed both times. The staff are always friendly and professional, the breakfasts are always fab and this time (with regards to the pandemic) they adapted to the changes very well. I was more than comfortable with the way the hotel was managed in terms of cleanliness and safety etc. Would recommend.

Lovely spacious comfortable room, very clean and beautifully quiet. Tea and coffee supplies locally sourced where possible as were a lot of items on the menu. We enjoyed dinner and breakfast at the hotel and really enjoyed everything. Bar well stocked with an excellent range. Had a lovely little stay for a wedding. The staff were really friendly.

Fabulous stay only down side is having to book for pool to find it too full to swim. Sunday 8am 6 swimming and a lesson going on ,then a family of five got in so myself and another resident got out.

We have stayed before on a number of occasions as a great budget hotel.So we have used many times for the odd few nights for work, visiting family and friends. It’s very clean comfortable ( although you need to check bed size when booking or if you like a bit of space then possibly go for twin room as “some” of their double beds are standard 4’6 double) and local facilities for shopping and restaurants are excellent.
