"Nice hotel, easy to get to off motorway. What you expect of Marriott. Rooms were clean. Breakfast was a good spread."

"Hotel was well situated for getting around Southampton on foot. Room was a bit dated but adequate, the bed was comfy and we both slept well. The toilet was in a separate small room just inside the entrance to the room, it was showing its age, had no hand wash basin and the décor reminded me of our old outside toilet at our home back in the 1960,s."

"The suite we stayed was really lovely and the cooper bath a novel feature. Great shower and good sized bathroom. Loved the disguised TV sets. One of which was fixed very quickly when it needed resetting. Loved the pool, jacuzzi and sauna. Shame the Steam room was out of action. Fabulous breakfast in a large room with good views out. The only slight niggle was the laundry being moved outside and stored for collection right outside our room. The trollies were loud but gave somewhere some of the staff could hide for a sneaky smoke break. Would definitely visit again but not in that particular suite. Thank you"

"This hotel is very clean and in a perfect location for cruises! There is lots of shopping nearby and it’s a 16 min walk or 6 min uber to the port. The front desk staff is helpful and attentive. They allowed us to store us our bags before check in time because our room wasn’t ready yet. The room was large, the beds comfortable, the bathroom well appointed and clean."

"Room 201 No full length hanging space for a dress Hairdryer cable was so short I couldn’t use it without bashing myself with the open drawer but if the drawer was closed the cable got shorter! Several stains on the carpet"

"Room was very spacious and clean. Staff were very polite and helpful. However the breakfast was very poor, orange juice watered down milk used in the coffee machine was UHT and not fresh, some of the lids were broken, bacon, sausage and black pudding all very dry."

"The bar team was very friendly and accommodating towards children which gave the hotel a more family feel. Warm bottled water at check in with no fridge amenities wasn’t exactly up to Hilton’s regular standards and very basic coffee sachets in room off brand catering coffee which tasted as you would expect and no biscuits which caused great disappointment to our mini traveller but all in all minor let downs overall experience was good though and would return."
