10/10 Excellent

Shantaa is the most peaceful place i have been in thailand - its very private and even when the resort is fully booked it seems like there is four of five times more space than required. This makes it very special and magical - the staff are excellent and the food is also great ! Beds are super comfortable and the servive is perfect . Shantaa is a perfect place for people who are looking to escape life and find true tranquility for a moment - be careful though you might never want to leave !!

Top East Coast Thailand attractions for a relaxing vacation

For travellers seeking a luxurious escape with spa experiences on the East Coast of Thailand, Koh Samui and Koh Phangan stand out as prime locations. In Koh Samui, the iconic Big Buddha temple offers a serene cultural experience, while the stunning beaches like Chaweng and Lamai provide the perfect backdrop for relaxation. After a day of exploring, unwind at one of the many high-end spa hotels, where you can indulge in traditional Thai massages and holistic treatments that utilise local ingredients. Meanwhile, Koh Phangan is famous for its tranquil atmosphere and wellness retreats, making it an excellent choice for those looking to rejuvenate. The island’s secret beaches, such as Than Sadet, are perfect for a quiet day of sunbathing before heading back to your spa hotel for a sunset aromatherapy session. For a truly unique experience, consider staying at a resort that offers beachfront spa services, allowing you to enjoy the gentle sound of the waves while you pamper yourself. This combination of relaxation and adventure makes East Coast Thailand an attractive option for families eager to create unforgettable memories.
