Since it’s low season, it was quiet and relaxing. Due to the strong waves and high winds, some garbage gets washed up on the shore, but the staff do a good job of cleaning it up. Because of its location, food options are limited, so plan accordingly. Tip: If you enjoy fruits, buy them from the fruit stands on the way to the resort—they’re much cheaper compared to the prices in Bangkok. Hotel is a little tired and could do with some maintenance. Rooms are quite old with bad water not really any cold water in the bathroom and one minute it burns you then it’s colder with no pressure. Air conditioning in the rooms is noisy. The rooms are clean and modern. Beachside spa services were excellent although a bit pricey. The beach is lovely here however isn’t cleaned up daily. We were charged for breaking a glass in the room. The pools were plentiful (hot tub, small cool pool, two large pools, and a kid friendly pool). This resort is for the guest who doesn’t mind a crowd. You should have a thick wallet due to the price level at the resort. You should also not have anything getting up at 5 am to chase a sun bed. You should also don’t mind a noisy environment as the resort turns out to be a night club in the weekends. You should not be a breakfast person. Breakfast here is poor and overpriced. Be prepared on using the hotel’s expensive taxis . Grab doesn’t pick up at the hotel. This is placed out in nowhere. Be sure to bring what you need from the supermarket in Rayong. The room was what I expected. Comfortable bed, tile floors, balcony and large bathroom. Breakfast was good, very good for what the room cost. The pools were pretty spectacular. The exercise room was ok, not great. The hotel restaurants were good. There were several beach clubs in walking distance that offered good but less expensive food and drink. Othee than the beach clubs, there is not much in walking distance. I was pleased.
