Bungalow type hotel, just of motorway, not far from Gretna Outlet shopping. Hotel has a quirky feel with an interior that will surprise you. Very welcoming staff, rooms are huge, and although seems to have been refurbished, could still do with a few more improvements. Carpets are a bit threadbare ...
They are the most attentive and gracious staff that you can imagine. Beautiful location next to the river. Food is excellent especially the sticky toffee. I gave it all 5's because 6's aren't an option. Definitely staying there next time I visit.
Just stayed, with dog, overnight on our way south. Very pleasant young lady on reception - very helpful. Comfortable room, clean, though bathroom beginning to look a little tired, and taps / shower not the best. Good value for money, comfortable bed.

Cosy feel as you enter and plenty of room to relax in the seating area. The room was very big and had a homely feel to it with the fire and seating area. The bar had reasonably ...

Dinner and breakfast were large and delicious. The staff were very attentive to our needs and happy to give us tips on what to visit in town ...
