Perfect accomodation in the Old Town

Posted 06-Jan-2017
Pros: Location Cleanliness
Cons: The hotel location is not easy to find, the description sent by Nikolina is for those not familiar to the Old Town a bit complicated to understand.
Great location in the heart of the Old Town. The rooms are very clean, the bed very confortable. The building has been renovated, really good overall condition. The contact with Nikolina has been since the booking very straight forward, she's very friendly and has great tips for restaurants, places to see and explore the region - the Day Trip to Montenegro is really worth.

Convenient and comfortable weekend in Dubrovnik

Posted 02-Nov-2016 on Hotels
My hotel room at Villa Sigurata was situated right behind the cathedral, central to everything in the Old Town. It wasn't too hard to find at all. The welcome was warm and personal and I had absolutely no qualms whatsoever. I read a lot of reviews complaining about certain aspects, but really the only true one was that the towels were not the softest -- but if you are traveling to Croatia for soft towels, well, rethink your priorities :) The room was big enough for 2 people to use as a base while exploring, but don't expect any luxury. For one person, it's ideal. It has all of the essentials in a clean setting, a quiet street, and at fair prices. I would go back for sure.

Small hotel in the heart of the Old Town

Posted 06-Oct-2016
Our party of 6 were made to feel most welcome by Nikoleena her husband and staff. We were met at the airport driven to the gates of the old town where Nikoleena met and then guided us to the hotel. She gave us maps and lots of advise on restaurants and places to visit. Would thoroughly recommend Villa Sigurata to other visitors to Dubrovnik.

Excellent Service and Attentiveness

Posted 15-Sep-2016 on Hotels
our stay was excellent. Nikolina, Hotel Owner/Manager was outstanding. She helped with a critical item of printing that was requested, she gave excellent recommendations for restaurants, and how to quickly navigate the area, also set up the hotel transfer from the hotel to the airport, recruited help with our luggage to the taxi, and Overall outstanding service. Friendly, always under control, extremely pleasant to engage with, and always concerned about our needs.

A most beautiful vacation destination

Posted 09-Sep-2016 on Hotels
Villa Hotel Sigurata We wanted to stay within the walls of the Old City and keep to a reasonable budget. We usually book 4 star hotels but chose this one for its location and price point. We could easily walk everywhere and the street, in back of the cathedral, was quiet. It is a 3 star but after our last 4 star large hotel in Zagreb we were ready for the quaintness and charm this offered. The room itself was small but practical, we had plenty of space for all our belongings. The bathroom was very tiny. My husband and I are slim and not very tall. I think a larger person may feel confined. The AC worked very well as did the wifi. ( As an aside, we were surprised to find wifi coverage most everywhere in Duvrovnik whereas in Zagreb that was not the case. ) The owners are a lovely couple. The wife's family have been in Dubrovnik for 5 centuries. We took advantage of being taxied to and from the airport by the husband and daughter. We felt it well worth the 30€ each way (although their cars are not air conditioned.) You can feel comfortable in Villa Sigurata as Nikolina is ready to help you at every turn. We got caught in a downpour our first hour out and a quick What'sApp text brought Nikolina to our rescue!
