"The place it self was first class nice & clean the breakfast was lovely the family room was ok over all I enjoyed the stay the food for the wedding was lovely very filling & I loved how the rooms with the doors was different plenty of room to dance & the kids to let there hair down we all enjoyed the stay ."

"The staff were really friendly, the room was spacious and really clean. The bed was ok, I guess my only criticism would be it could maybe do with a new mattress, you could tell it was quite old and if you rolled near the edge of it there was no support and you pretty much fell out of bed :) There was a good choice at breakfast every day and a selection of full English items which was nice. Apart from that it was a convenient location at a reasonable price. "

"Lovely historic building with a nod to the past in the internal character but with an overall modern feel within the rooms. Comfy bed, clean bathroom and a safety deposit box and toiletries which made this a lovely room. Would have liked a better view, we were in room 145 at the back of the property and tbe coffee/tea tray was on a unit where there wasnt a plug so had to keep moving the entire tray to the dressing table when using the kettle. Given complimentary drink at the bar for our wedding anniversary which was nice and arrived in our room to towel swans and rose petals on the bed which was a lovely touch. Lovely breakfast with a variety of options - all good quality produce. Location was very convenient for walking into the centre of Harrogate. "
