Loved the kindness and professionalism of Karen and Richard. Very helpful and 100% dedicated to high standards in all things. We needed easy walking level access to all amenities including restaurants, coffee shops and places of interest.

Honestly this was the MOST perfect stay for a new forest adventure. i cannot tell you how special this place is you just need to go an experience it for yourself. Special shout out to ALL the staff, they were just as perfect as the room was. thank you thank you thank you. it was a dream.

Karen and Graham made us feel so welcomed. Hotel was clean and comfortable and in a great location next to the beach and harbour. Also close to some great restaurants.

Arrived on Friday 3rd November and greeted by excellent weather for the time of year and was greeted by Geoff the owner who was suprised to see who was arriving as we had previously visited and stayed at the bed and breakfast under a different name in August where my wife and I spent our honeymoon. Our weekend was set for some truffle hunting and we chose Munden House as our base. We were given the Dairy cottage which was warm and cute. Although we didn't make as much use of the place as we'd like to have, it was wonderfully cosy. The bedding was perfect for a luxury sleep. And the couple that run the hotel are charming and delightful to chat to. Highly recommended.

What an awesome find ! As good as anywhere I have ever stayed beautiful building fabulously comfortable and so relaxing. So much effort must go into delivering such exceptional customer service. Have stayed here several times before and hope to again. As ever, everything was flawless - splendid dinner, comfortable room - particularly like the en suite, substantial breakfast and, surpassing all, friendly, obliging service. Surely a benchmark for all those who purport to run a 'country inn'.

It's about 8 miles from Honiton, yet advertised as being in The High Street, Honiton - why not mention the real location?

Managers Ed and Anika could not have been more welcoming. Location in beautiful village location within driving distance of Dorchester. Room was modern and tastefully furnished and immaculately clean. All staff very attentive and could not do enough for you. Dining was superb and huge range of alcoholic beverages to suit all tastes. Excellent facilities for disabled customers. Even have spare wellies and umbrellas for sudden changes in weather. Excellent nights sleep in very comfortable beds....
