"The Hen House was lovely! It really was pretty, comfortable and finished to an incredibly high standard. The estate is beautiful and we happened to stay during a midsummer fair, which was fantastic. The hot tub was in dire need of a deep chemical clean. The tubes connected to the fire were leaking bits of dirt. Also the check out time being 10am is quite early when it is self catering and you’ll also need to pack a car. Overall I would highly reccomend a stay here. "

The owner of the cottage Shawna greeted us with a bright smile, what difference it makes!! The caretaker of the property (Adam I think!) was very responsive to our requirements. He guided us with information regarding the local sight seeing. The cottage was modern, spacious and well-maintained. The only thing is that, the room heating is temperamental, and needed to be attended to, time and again. Overall, 5 out of 5, for the winter season price.

Lovely, well equipped, cosy little apartment ideally located for activities on Loch Ness and beautiful walks in a variety of terrain and easy reach of Fort Augustus and Inverness, some right from the doorstep. I arrived on the Saturday night and checked in smoothly, the pod had pretty much everything you could need.
