A very quiet hotel, albeit next to a busy main road, the room we had was motel style. A very warm and welcoming room with the bathroom having the free shampoos etc , not found in many hotels these days. After a very long day and a long drive, we tested the bar out, ok, its not cheap, but it IS a hotel, bar staff were very helpful, and made life very easy for us. Beautifully refurbished rooms, very friendly staff, and great food. Some noise from the bar/garden - as you would expect from an Inn - but very quiet after closing time, with a very comfy bed. Great value.

My favourite East Anglian hotel - recently refurbished, just as friendly and welcoming. As usual there were all sorts here, it's a proper 'local' - good food, good beer, good cheer! Lots of interesting opinions - all topical issues covered and easily overheard. Very friendly staff , gorgeous room with huge comfy bed! Mineral water ,luxury soap etc and hot chocolate for the kids!! Lovely breakfast and wonderful service ! The best thing was our little dog was welcome too in the hotel and the pub. Great location as it makes a nice stop when visiting center parcs especially if your bringing your doggy friend ! fabulous . I was a bit worried as Copperbeech is on the A12 but the room is triple glazed and has a portable air con unit. Super comfy bed lovely fluffy towels with many extras - the little touches that elevate the stay. The local pub dos not serve food Tuesday and Wednesday but the menu looks good.

We had a great stay, with everything we needed. Exceeded expectations and will certainly book again if in the area. Very convenient with on site parking and an easy walk into the city centre.

We cannot think of any significant shortcomings about this hotel and enjoyed our four night break

Peace, pigs, no tv,, friendly hosts, cakes, fresh eggs, park beside accommodation, cards and games in cupboard, warm . cosy, What more could you ask for.

Great hotel and restaurant

The room was very spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable. What really made the stay was the staff - I was unable to book a taxi to a wedding and one of the receptionists, Corina, offered to take me to the venue. What superb customer service and I can't thank her enough!

I tend to worry about the cleanliness of a B&B and thus avoid them. However, this one was priced at a really good rate and most other hotels close to the wedding I was attending were already booked.
