Some background: for the past three years we had been staying for 4-5 days at the Marriott Vacation Club's Grande Vista resorts. We'd enjoyed it there, with a few quibbles, but this year the prices have ramped up significantly, so we shopped around for something similar.
We (family of 4, including 2 under ten year old boys) booked 6 nights at a special rate of £890 for a two bedroom townhouse. We also received 10% cashback.

This was my 5th stay and it was excellent as always. Each time I stay I don’t think my view could get any better but they always surprise me. On previous stays I’ve had a view of the Tower of Terror and fireworks, second trip I could see both the Epcot and Hollywood studios fireworks from my window. On my 3rd trip I had a resort view and could see the Magic Kingdom fireworks. This time I had an amazing balcony room looking directly at the Epcot ball it was amazing in the evenings! Family friendly. Secure and safe. We had the two bedroom (sleeps 4) ground floor apartment with balcony over looking a pond. It was quiet, very spacious, and clean. Two bathrooms and a great kitchen. Only one teenie tiny downside the TV was a bit basic; appreciate not there for that, but with two boys tired after a day at Disney, a TV with at least a TV guide of what’s on on what channels would have been really useful.
