"Our stay at Mansion Buenavista was wonderful. Noud, the owner, and the entire staff were exceptional. They went above and beyond to make sure all of our needs were taken care of. Our room was cleaned every day, and everything was always spotless. The food was delicious, with every meal prepared fresh and full of flavor. The property is peaceful, beautifully maintained, and offers breathtaking views. What made our stay truly special was the warm, personalized hospitality—we felt more like welcomed guests than customers. Honestly, this was even better than staying at a hotel because of the personal attention, comfort, and home-like atmosphere. If you’re looking for a relaxing place to stay with outstanding service, great food, and genuine hospitality, I highly recommend Mansion Buenavista. We would definitely stay here again."

"Cadlao Resort was, without a doubt, one of the highlights of our trip in the Philippines! From the second we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed by the most amazing staff. Every single person greeted us with warm smiles, kindness, and a willingness to help with absolutely anything. Their genuine hospitality made us feel less like guests and more like family, and it’s something we’ll always remember. The entire resort is beautifully maintained and impeccably clean. Our room was spotless every day, and the pool areas were always pristine, making them the perfect place to relax after a day of island hopping. The food was another pleasant surprise—we loved everything we ordered from the menu, with fresh, flavorful dishes that we looked forward to every evening. Breakfast was equally impressive, with a wonderful variety of delicious options that gave us the perfect start to each day. What makes Cadlao Resort truly special isn’t just its beautiful setting—it’s the people. The staff’s warmth, professionalism, and constant smiles created such a welcoming atmosphere that it was genuinely hard to say goodbye. Thank you for making our family’s stay so memorable. "Their guest service is wonderful! The included shuttle to and from the airport and to local beaches is great! All of the staff are kind and attentive. I had issues with my first room but the hotel quickly provided a room move and sent me fruit and a bottle of wine. The location is situated close enough to town by walking but far enough to not be of the middle of it all. The cliff slide pool/roof deck area is beautiful. Loved the free tote bag as well. The turndown service was also very nice and included cookies. Also the mini bar is complimentary your first consumption. They also will do your laundry complimentary once (I learned this later after I used a service in town) but will note this for next time. The staff learn your names and provide an amazing experience/stay."

"The hotel was conveniently located two blocks from the beach with a roof-top bar that overlooks the bay. The staff was over-the-top accommodating, food was great and 2 for 1 happy hour drinks. TV was modern with streaming, internet was reliable. The room was comfortable and clean. Downsides, coffee maker in the room didn't work (but in all fairness we forgot to mention it), bed wasn't super comfortable, rooftop bar wifi disconnects you hourly, and parking was scarce but they valet for you if necessary. Highly recommend and we'll be back."

"Superior service everywhere. Fabulous location. Well-designed resort atea and grounds. Room was reasonably spacious & plenty comfortable. Food was good but not exceptional; as such, prices of food & drinks were unreasonably high for what was offered. As example: my son ordered a burger for dinner; charge that was listed on check came out to almost USD$30(!!) as VAT and service charges are all automatically added Also: be aware generally of lots of extra charges. We had booked our travel through Expedia, which had labeled the room as for 3 people. When we arrived at resort, front desk said the booking was listed as for 2 people & then insisted that we pay an extra >$100 per night (a not-insignificant sum)"
