Our stay at Karuna was an absolute dream thanks to the wonderful hotel staff. Everyone was immensely helpful, kind, and accommodating. The rooms offer great comfort, breathtaking views and a unique layout featuring El Nido’s stunning beauty at every turn. We especially loved the restaurant. The food and service were simply the best. Also, a big thank you to Lemer for chatting with us, making us feel at home, and providing the best service. We hope to be back as soon as we can.

The hotel was amazing. We stayed in Studio 2 and the view was incredible. The room and facilities were brilliant. The staff were really friendly and helpful and went above and beyond to help. The view and location is amazing. The hotel is set on the hillside, but they offer free lifts up and down from the main road which was really helpful.

Resort is a steep 400m up a hill to reception and a further distance uphill to some of the villas. We were lucky to stay in Studio 2. Our room was beautiful and not many steps to the restaurant or pool. Staff were very nice and accommodating and have a free shuttle into and from town. If you don’t have general fitness I recommend you contact the resort when booking accommodation.

Beautiful Villas on the hillside of Corong-Corong Beach (a bit of a hike up a steep driveway but nothing one of the tricycles or scooters cant get up). I stayed in Joglo 1 which was a beautifully decorated and themed room overlooking the hills and ocean. Its a large room, well working AC, beautiful balcony and over all an amazing place to stay that I would love to visit again. The staff were amazing, extremely knowledgeable and helpful and assisted in whatever way they could. A brief but detailed welcome and tour of the room gave me all the information i needed to be comfortable.

Everything about our stay was amazing. We stayed in Joglo 2, a beautiful unique villa with a wrap around porch overlooking the ocean. The villas are perched on a hill with spectacular views and gorgeous sunsets. You could also catch the beautiful sunsets from the infinity pool and the restaurant. The restaurant was wonderful with many choices. The staff was very attentive (Wilma and Jade in particular). We also had wonderful massages at the spa. In short we loved it !

Beautiful place to stay, amazing view of the sunset, especially from the restaurant and the pool. The staff was very helpful. The room very clean and spacious. The only less nice thing is that the bathroom is outdoors so lots of bugs and reptiles got in the bathroom and sometimes the room (we found a frog inside).

This was one of the more interesting hotels that I stayed at while in the Philippines. Tucked away up a hilly forested area, the hotel gives you the feeling of a luxury hotel with an outdoor campground vibe. I had a large room with a beautiful, draped bed that faced one of the most beautiful views I've ever had in any hotel in any country. The bed faced a wrap-around oversized villa style balcony that overlooked beautiful blue water with a stone mountain overlooking the area. The view alone justified the price of the villa in my opinion. The room was very spacious but seemed a little earthy, probably due to the jungle pretty much surrounding the room. There were bugs that constantly made their way into the room. You couldnt leave food out anywhere because the little ants would swarm it within minutes in certain areas. I also saw the biggest spider I've ever seen in my life walking under my bed! The bathroom was out outside of the room but attached to the rear in a secluded spot bordered by woods. The cool thing was that monkeys would sit on my balcony and just hang out while I was there. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating and would provide much needed transportation in and out of the resort area. The restaurant also was outdoors and had a nice view and menu selection with a helpful staff. The biggest problem would be that there's a huge challenge if youre handicapped because of the sloped mountain the hotel sat on. Would highly recommend! 8 out of 10.

What a wonderful stay we had in the Jaglo 1 Villa. From the check-in to the checkout, everything was absolutely wonderful. The Philippines spirit of hospitality is very apparent and the staff goes out of their way to make their guests very happy. I would highly recommend staying here for anybody visiting El Nido. Be aware it is on a mountain side so very hilly. If you cannot walk comfortably up hills and down hills, you will struggle to stay at this property. Thank you again to the entire team at Karuna!!!
