Such a beautifully appointed accomodation, the views were exceptional. Communication was excellent and we were able to check in 1 hour early. Beautiful hotel with fantastic staff. Food was great in both the main restaurant and Schisto (tasting menu). Wine tasting at their vineyard was informative snd fun.

Beautiful, new stylish and clean room

A truly delightful experience that far exceeded my expectations, from the service and the people to the quality of the hotel. One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at, and definitely somewhere I will come back to for a longer stay.

Amazing place

This was a value for money choice. It was very nice, spacious, clean and provided everything one could want except for people who one could put questions to. However I did not need this as everything was clear in the instructions. By saving on staffing one can keep attractive prices. Breakfast was at a nearby bakery, supposedly the best in town. This bakery provided nice breakfasts and staff were nice and helpful and accepted the voucher from the hotel without questions.

The location, staff and meals were all excellent. Dinners, in particular, were a highlight. I did not like the two-storey format of the room and the bed (which was too small).

Wonderful setting looking out over the Douro Valley with brilliant care of the 16 guests by the team - led by the unique and amazing Bernardo. Huge thanks for a magical stay - it was the highlight of our trip!

Quinta Nova is a beautiful Quinta in spectacular surroundings. It is very comfortable and the service is impeccable - probably the best welcome of any hotel I have ever stayed at. The restaurant was also excellent - with enough choice for 3 fabulous meals even though the menu didn’t change during our 3 night stay. The walking trail around the vineyards is superb and a real highlight of our stay.

This hotel is absolutely beautiful and set in the most amazing valley and vineyard. The Chapel is gorgeous, the rooms are spacious and the pool is a good size. The facilities are great. Transfer to and from Rede Station included, but not from Régua. The restaurant is not very good at all - the vegetarian rice dish was very bland and the food poorly seasoned, but the wine was fantastic. It was also great value.
