"Pros: Room is very spacious and clean. Common areas also nice and generally I enjoyed a quiet atmosphere. Staff is nice, food is good. Cons: They did not honor the complementary airport transfer that is announced on line, they arranged a private taxi that charged me 20 US Dollars (for a 4 minute ride). The quality of bed linens and towels is not great, they should improve them. The one day I used the pool, which is big and pretty, the water was not clean. "

"Hotel is located in old plantation. The main house is renoved and designed in colonial style. Room was very big and comfortable, with beautiful tarrace and view. "This is about the only option for reasonably priced and reasonably comfortable lodging in Sao Tome. The location is not ideal for walking and the rooms are bare boned. Be sure to organize breakfast plans in advance. It looks like a buffet, but it’s only for those who have reserved it. All in all it’s not a bad choice for those who don’t want to pay resort prices."
