That said, Muscat is spread out so any sightseeing stay in the citywill need taxis. This hotel was almost perfect. The chargeable buffets for breakfast and dinner had an outstanding variety of excellent food. The staff were always friendly and efficient. The beds were extremely comfortable. The pool was large and not busy. The only down side was the lack of local amenities. The staff deserve a particular mention. Incredibly friendly and accommodating — they kindly offered me a very late checkout given the hotel was quiet due to the current regional situation, and knowing I had a late flight. That kind of thoughtfulness makes a real difference, and I’m genuinely grateful. The facilities look impressive: there’s a spa and a rooftop pool, though I didn’t get to use them on this visit. The food is also worth highlighting — really good, even though I only experienced it through room service rather than dining in the restaurant. Location-wise, it’s in a commercial district rather than a scenic or tourist-friendly area, so it’s not one for a leisure holiday. But in terms of value for money, quality of the room, and standard of service, it punches well above its weight. Highly recommended."
