Perfect in every way, great location lovely gardens rooms were spacious and spotless and the continental breakfast was plentifull. The hosts live on the site and Kerry made us feel very welcome on arrival and nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended and look forward to staying again very soon.

We booked a 2 night stay here to celebrate my wife's birthday , we wanted a relaxing weekend and the white horse seemed to offer what we were looking for . Right from check-in i realised we had definitely picked the right place . We received a warm and friendly welcome and were shown to our room . Would highly recommend staying at the Gonalston Boutique. Not only was the room beautiful and clean, and the breakfast delicious, but the owner was the most wonderful host. She made us feel very welcome and was lovely to chat with. My only disappointment is with myself, that I did not discover this excellent place sooner! We will definitely be back. I have always stayed at the hotel over the road when I have come home to visit. But after staying in that The Lawns I will be staying there in future it was very customer friendly a lovely clean place .

This is our fourth time staying here. Whenever we are visiting relatives in the area we always try and book here. It is such a lovely location and the rooms are beautifully furnished and the facilities are spot on.

A lovely place to stay, very simple check in, room was lovely, doors opening onto a lovely little garden where we sat watching the butterflies and reading! Plenty of tea and coffee for the morning! Helpful owner 🙂

Needs bedside lighting

The hotel is on a large estate standing in impressive grounds. Our room was on the first floor and you walked along a balcony type corridor overlooking the bar to reach it. The room was warm, comfortable and inviting with lots of little extras like water, tea and coffee making facilities and biscuits plus in the bathroom, soap, shower cap, shoe cleaning sponge. In the room TV and free WiFi. The staff were friendly and helpful and the bar food enjoyable. Would happily stay at this hotel again.
