Quite remote and very calm and serene. Excellent place to see the Northern Lights if the weather is clear. If Northern Lights is your goal then you probably should stay in Tromso City and book a van tour that drives you around to the best location for viewing depending on the conditions.

Very friendly welcome on arrival and this was consistent with all staff throughout our stay. The room was phenomenal and breakfast outstanding. The evening meal on the first night was so good we went back for the following evening. I would not hesitate to recommend; a fantastic hotel and wonderful staff. Thank you.

Excellent hotel. Friendly professional staff. Large choice at breakfast buffet. Really enjoyed the luxury furniture in the room Hotel is a few minutes from the funicular, port and light rail stop. We walked everywhere.

Lovely room, great breakfast and very nice staff

An amazing stay and great location for exploring Ålesund. The breakfast was 10/10, so much choice and all prepared well. Room was lovely and the staff were all very helpful. Would recommend to everyone!

This hotel was directly outside the Central station and located centrally to access the rest of Oslo. Just brilliant. The facilities were great, power shower was included and a wonderful buffet breakfast.

Clean room, great view. Located close to port and very easy to get to airport. The gym was very good and there was a fabulous lobby. The breakfast was excellent. Overall great quality and good value.

The room was quite small but clean, warm and functional. The bath was great! There is no kettle in the room but a free coffee machine in reception whenever you want it. The breakfast was amazing - everything and more you could want. Fika at 3pm is a piece of cake and access to the coffee machine in the lounge and the evening meal was plentiful - always a soup starter, choice of main and 3 different salads and bread. Everything was good but the tv by the sofa bed didn’t work but other than that everything was okay

We stayed one night before boarding the Hurtigruten Southbound cruise. We caught the bus from the airport which dropped us off outside of the hotel. Check in was easy. The room was comfortable, spacious and clean. The food was excellent. The bus to the Hurtigruten terminal left from outside the hotel.
