"Location: Perfect! it’s right near and a walking distance to every thing, the center and accessible to the train, Brygen, and fish market. Breakfast: Excellent and great choices. Room: Room has seen better days, paints are peeling in corners and walls, door frames and baseboards, but has things I need,comfy bed and pillows, warm comforters, washroom amenities, hair dryer, etc. Staff at reception: they are just doing their job, no how are you, how was your stay ? I guess I’m just used to the warmth of Canadians. overall we enjoyed our stay."

"We had a fabulous stay at the Bergen Bors hotel. The location was briiliant, yet our room was very quiet, you would never have believed we were right in the heart of the city. The bed was fantastic, my partner and I slept well both nights. But the highlight of the stay was the breakfast, I'm not exaggerating when I say it was the best I've had.... ever. Highly recommend. If I return to Bergen, it would be the only place I'd stay!"

"We stayed 5 days at the Blu Royal hotel during our recent holiday in Bergen. Great location ... within 100 metres of St Mary's Church and right along the wharf. Our room was clean and warm and a minor criticism was that there were no wash cloths and too few hand towels for two people. WiFi worked well and was easy to access (very important for US travellers). The staff were welcoming and helpful. Our room was ready upon arrival. The breakfast buffet was very nice and the wait staff were pleasant and attentive. We looked forward to waking up to the breakfast! We recommend the Blu Royal highly. You will not be disappointed if you book here."
