Great for exploring the countryside and Oslo! Lovely hotel and grounds where we enjoyed making our own waffles for breakfast, the games room- but canoeing most of all! Not sure if some staff are snooty or that is the Norwegian way 😂

We found a stunning refuge in the hotel Union Oye. The place is so beautiful and you feel like you have stepped back in time. The staff are very kind and helpful. The floating sauna was a highlight. I would love to go back there again!

An amazing stay and great location for exploring Ålesund. The breakfast was 10/10, so much choice and all prepared well. Room was lovely and the staff were all very helpful. Would recommend to everyone!

This was an excellent spur of the moment stop during our road trip through Norway. The rooms were clean and comfortable (heated bathroom floors were an added bonus). The staff were polite and amicable, provided excellent service and the breakfast was fantastic. Would recommend this hotel highly to anyone who needs a good place to stay for the night!

This was an absolutely lovely hotel. Friendly greeting when I arrived, and the free tea and cakes in the dining room were much appreciated after my flights. I loved the character and charm of this hotel. Would definitely stay again, as I plan to visit Bergen again next year.

Great stay at the lovely hotel :) the room was big and had amazing beds

The hotel was situated in a beautiful and quiet location. We chose the room with a river view, which was lovely. However the room was quite stuffy and we did try to open the window to cool the room down but it was still warm, it didn’t have an air-con setting. Also my bed was quite soft so the topper kept moving about as it was quite light so it made for an uncomfortable sleep. This has only happened in this hotel and I have stayed in 7 different hotels and I have no complaints with the other...

Located very close to the Oslo Ford this charming hotel has an Art Deco vibe, the dining hall as an opulent decor and while I only stayed for breakfast, what I ate was excellent. At first I thought the lift looked old and I had an initial distrust of its abilities, but that was before I realised I was staying in a themed hotel and while lifts probably weren’t around in the 1940’s (perhaps they were?) it fitted in with the general vibe perfectly. I could see that there were conference facilities...

The incredibly helpful staff and the magical location. The pool, sauna and hot tub were just perfect. Best of all, your toboggans - I will never forget speeding downhill into town steering my delighted five year old grandson.

Excellent hotel. Room space was good but plug sockets could be positioned better and updated with USB ports. It would be useful to have better bathroom shelving and a useable plug in the hand basin. Breakfast was very good with everything you need to start your day. The evening meal in the restaurant was good but the service was a little slow.

There is nothing better than a homely well run family hotel and Fleischers is exactly that. There is a super strong team spirit focused on delivering first class service. The hotel has so much character but has still managed to modernise sympathetically. Rooms were lovely. Pool was amazing and warm! The views were to die for even in the showers. Breakfast was simply lovely and I enjoyed everything with pots of English breakfast tea. I booked for 3 days but stayed for five and I will definitely...
