"The staff were very friendly, and upgraded us to a castle view room on arrival which was kind. The room was spacious, with a heated towel rack in the bathroom. Lots of little touches that made our stay here very enjoyable."

"The hotel has real potential,we got upgraded free of charge to a suite. However it wasnt that clean. The bed & bathroom was, but the bedside table was dusty, and where the tea & coffee is kept there was spillages which hadn’t been cleaned. Also dents in the wall,and the carpet needed a good clean. Bed was very comfy though and room was nice and spacious. Just needs a deep clean and a furniture re do! "

Great selection of tea coffee and other complementary beverages plus alternative milk which I needed ❤️can’t wait to return next month… thank you "

"Checked in on Friday, and told that there was a half marathon on Sunday which meant we could not use the road from 7.30. That meant for us, really no point staying as would need to leave before that. So we checked out on Saturday - reception seemed to agree this was sensible and no other option. Then they would not agree refund - seems unreasonable to me."

Nothing negative to say - my partner and I really enjoyed our stay and would come back without any hesitation! "
