"We spent several days at the ice-hotel, in the warm rooms, or rather cabins - they have separate bedrooms, a sitting/TV room, and a small kitchen. The cabin was great. The staff were very friendly, but missed to book a restaurant reservation we had asked for, and we also saw them give very wrong information about upgrade costs to another couple. Of the 3 restaurants owned by the ice-hotel, the expensive "veranda" meal was well worth the cost, really excellent, and a fantastic experience. The...

"This was a great choice for a home base in Kiruna. Although this side of town is being phased out, there is a grocery store and excellent Thai restaurant a short walk away. It was also easy for me to coordinate pick ups for my excursions from here. I was very comfortable in my cozy room, and I enjoyed the sauna as well. Thank you for a wonderful visit!"
