Amazing hotel- wonderful experience. Super comfy bed, warm and toasty! We didn’t see the Northern Lights but we got a blanket of beautiful snow instead. Highly recommend a trip to Kiruna.

My stay here was pure pleasure. The hotel just opened a few months ago so all is fresh and modern. Good cocktails at the rooftop bar. Would recommend using the spa for the full experience.

​We had a wonderful stay at Elite Frost. The check-in was quick, and the reception staff were incredibly helpful with local tips. Our room was modern and clean, featuring convenient USB sockets and a fresh, well-equipped bathroom. ​The Spa: A very relaxing 2.5 hours! The outdoor heated pool was a highlight. Even though the staff worked hard to clear the ice (a tough job in Kiruna!), it was perfectly enjoyable as long as you take care on the steps. ​Coeliac/Gluten-Free Dining: As a strict coeliac, I was impressed by the awareness here: ​Breakfast: Dedicated GF section with bread, muffins, and cereal (note: no separate GF toaster). ​The Bishops Arms: Knowledgeable staff guided me through the menu; the GF burger and fries were delicious. ​Fe Restaurant: Our 5-course NYE meal was expertly adapted. Courses were served separately to prevent cross-contact, showing true understanding of coeliac needs. ​Modern, comfortable, and safe—I would definitely stay here again!

My new Hotel of Choice in Kiruna

I had a great experience at the Elite Hotel Frost. This was helped, I’m sure, by the fact that I was given a free upgrade to a premium room. The front desk staff were delightful. The lobby was very cozy (giving it a somewhat different feel from the Scandic Hotel around the corner). The restaurant had excellent Lapland-themed meals for dinner and a traditional Swedish breakfast with lots of options (including vegan ones). I loved the design of my room, which was simultaneously upscale and contemporary, but also really brought the feeling of nature into the room. The bed was comfortable, and they had a “pillow menu,” so guests with different preferences could choose the firmness and thickness that worked best for them. The bathroom, similarly, had a stand-out design, with nice use of indirect lighting… and a towel warmer. Being a new hotel, the whole place was impeccable. The newness had its downsides, as the hotel was still a work in progress. The parking garage was not completed (which was fine, since I was there in August and not the snowy months). The spa was open (pool and sauna), but had not yet started offering spa treatments. On the whole, I liked the Elite Frost better than the Scandic, where I stayed last year, though the free upgrade maybe makes this an unfair comparison. Elite Hotel Frost will be my hotel of choice when in Kiruna.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Right from check-in, the staff made us feel warm and welcomed. They were able to accommodate us with an early check-in. We were celebrating my fiancé's birthday and the staff made our stay special. The rooms are well presented and spacious. The breakfast at the hotel is exceptional with a wide selection to cater for all tastebuds. We also enjoyed our time at the Vana Spa which is a must do. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kiruna. The hospitality was faultless.

Nice place in a convenient location

Very nice hotel conveniently close to shopping and parking. If you want to visit the Iron mine (and you should) the meeting place only is a 5 min walk away. Impressive breakfast buffet in nice surroundings. The hotel has a great roof terrace, however the outside only has seating for about 12 people which is just not adequate for such a big hotel.
