Amazing room it had everything we needed for the weekend

If you are looking for an authentic British inn in the modern style look no further. Great village location, superb food, great beer, beautiful rooms, friendly staff and a 'real breakfast'. Intrigued ..go there.

We loved our stay in the Abbey Hotel and apartments, the staff, breakfast & attention to detail were amazing. Very easy walk into the town centre with its unique shops, pubs & restaurants, also not forgetting the Cathedral & Abbey Gardens. Bury St Edmunds is a must to visit.

All the little additions that make a great b&b are considered and make the stay special. The breakfast is good value and the service is really attentive and aimed to give you a great experience. The information they provide is also helpful but they could do with up dating some of the restaurant reccomendations which were in some cases overly optimistic in the presentation! Fab stay would thoroughly reccomend.

We cannot think of any significant shortcomings about this hotel and enjoyed our four night break

We love here for that reason this is our second trip. Little bit hilly but that's OK. Food at the restaurant is tasty, however BINGO !! You have to be fan of this entertainment otherwise beautiful place to spend quality time. Next time definitely we're planning to stay longer. Thanks guys !

The room was very spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable. What really made the stay was the staff - I was unable to book a taxi to a wedding and one of the receptionists, Corina, offered to take me to the venue. What superb customer service and I can't thank her enough!

We had a WONDEFUL stay. I have to admit, when we arrived, we were not at all sure, but within a short period of time, it became very apparent that we had made a good choice. The room was spacious, air-conditioned and a huge bed, very comfortable. We ate in the restaurant most evenings, save one (which was a terrible mistake, btw), but he next evening we were back at the Balcony Restaurant, where the service & food were impeccable. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and well decorated. The breakfasts were excellent. We will certainly stay at the Furzedown next time we come to Great Yarmouth.

This hotel was lovely. Welcoming staff The room was clean the location is great. Wouldn’t recommend getting a room at the front if you have children it might be a bit noisy early hours of the morning. The room was lovely fantastic view comfy bed think it would have been nice if the windows were slightly cleaner but it wasn’t a massive problem. Booked for one night to attend a family wedding, check in via the bar, lady came straight out and explained that all the rooms were full, so as we were a family had upgraded us to Hannah House, a complete massive cottage to the three of us, It was beautiful and we could have slept 11 people in it, so rustic and full of charm lovely and peacefully we were so impressed.
