there were 4 of us in the party that stayed at the hotel; my wife and I and our son and daughter, all were very impressed by the cleanliness and comfort that the rooms offered. The rooms were adjoining with a connecting door, which made it easy for us to spend more of the time together. Beds were very comfortable. Another good feature of the hotel, was the close proximity of a very good restaurant All in all we enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely stay there again.

We had a lovely stay. The cottage was immaculate and had everything we needed. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. And was in a fab location for what we needed.

Lovely room with an amazing view. Facilities were great, and there were lots of lovely little touches, such as the dressing gowns. Also I had asked if there would be any oat/soya milk available as I have an intolerance, when we arrived there was not only oat milk but gluten and dairy free cereals, biscuits and yoghurt. The gower hotel wasn't much to look at from outside, but was gobsmacked with the perfect interior design of the place, 10 out of 10 in every department and also staff were amazing would pick this place over the Celtic manor every time

I found the property to be very clean and well equipped. It was slightly smaller than I expected, but as I was staying alone that wasn't a problem. I believe it would be plenty big enough for a couple. It was a great location for me as I was visiting quite a few sites around the area. I would highly recommend this property and I would very likely stay again.

It had everything we needed for a one nights stay. The only thing we couldn’t find was the switch for the heating as we did need to take the chill off now it’s getting cooler. Despite the fire alarm going off and no one knowing what to do at 5am we had a pleasant stay

First time we have stayed here. Lovely, clean room and easy to find as we have eaten a few times in Haystacks which is underneath and has amazing food ❤️ lush bed and slept really well and blackout curtains helped with this 😀Shower was amazing. A hidden gem! We will be back 😍

Absolutely amazing hotel and staff. They went above and beyond to make my elderly parents stay easy and safe. Beautiful room with fab view and definitely worth the money, breakfast was great with loads of options even for my mum who has multiple food allergies.

Stayed a year ago and re-booked for this year. Just one night stay, but the service is excellent, and we would like to have a longer stay next time. Our host is very helpful, and the breakfast is just what you need. Our room was comfortable, and the bed is lovely. Might bring the dogs next time to enjoy the countryside.

An amazing place - right location near the mountains and valleys, spic, interior full of character as per the inn name, cheerful staff, good size rooms with amenities, tea and coffee with milk (not milk powder), a shower with superb spray force and priced perfectly. Whether you are a solo traveller or family, it's highly recommended if you are in Sennybridge.

The location is perfect. Right at the city center. I liked the staff! The rooms are clean and the common areas quite comfortable

We stayed two nights at the Bear in September and enjoyed it immensely. This is a ancient Coaching Inn and so layout is a little quirky. But the room was a good size and extremely comfortable. Large four poster bed, comfortable armchair, sufficient hanging space, a well appointed en suite and tea making facilities, made for a great stay. Breakfast was individually made and well cooked. We also are in the bar late on Sunday and the roast (topside of beef and all trimmings) was outstanding....

Absolutely perfect for our one night mum and young son date 👌. Super clean, great breakfast and best of all, the staff were fabulous; really friendly and kind. Will stay again.

The cottage was very clean throughout. Check-in was entirely online, as the cottages are self-contained from the main building. I think I was the only person staying during my visit, making it blissfully quiet. There are no dining facilities on-site, so you will need to drive to the recommended local places to eat. I didn't actually try any of them, as I was using the cottage as a base to visit family. I will definitely look to book here again next time I am in the area."
