I loved the sounds of the school next door. The room was great, staff was friendly and helpful and the food at the restaurant was the best on this whole trip. It was easy to get a taxi to Panajachel for the public water shuttles around to the other villages. "

"My husband and I stayed at the Live Aqua for a long weekend.The property is very well maintained and I adored the aroma therapy options in the room. When we were there the beach was very shallow but still so much fun. The pools were also great. There are lots of them so they never felt crowded. I recommend getting a cabana, the foot massages are A++. The spa was also so amazing, and a must do! The staff was wonderful and it was really sweet to have a Starbucks onsite. The only thing that we found tedious to navigate was finding all of the restaurants and knowing when they were open for lunch or dinner. We found some of the food to be hit or miss but I think that’s personal opinion. The smoothie bar at breakfast was also a favorite. All in all, we loved this resort and will definitely be back! "
