Very clean and discreetly attentive staff

We had a wonderful 2 nights stay at LA Home on Lake Garda. The staff were helpful and friendly. The rooms are spacious, light and airy with a lovely atmosphere and well-decorated. The pool is not huge but adequate size for a few strokes. I would highly recommend a stay here.

Set on the banks of Lake di Annone this superb hotel was just what we needed. Quiet, exclusive & with amazing service. We had a signature suite, so we had a hot tub with a huge wrap around balcony. Our super king size bed overlooked the lake with double aspect windows, which was wonderful to wake up to. The staff were very friendly, helpful & accommodating. I don't think we've ever met such nice people at a hotel before. Donatella and Julio the owners were amazing. Me and my husband are vegan and I can't have gluten and they bought us things to eat for breakfast. They were helpful and always had a smile. My daughter loved their dogs especially the little one wendy. The hotel rooms were spotless and comfortable and the rest of the hotel had a warmth and openness that reflected the owners. Our stay at Hotel Ungheria was great! Good room with airco, facilities, great breakfast and excellent helpfull service throughout. A spotless and very well run family hotel. Varese itself is lovely, as well as centrally located, especially if you like to travel by public transport. Milan, Como, Lugano and more are nearby, including Lake Varese (cycle lane around it), Villa Panza and Sacro Monte. Fully recommended.

The hotel is well sign posted. There is an underground garage (7 Euros a day) which has electric charging points. There are free parking spaces nearby but as we needed charges we used the car park The rooms were well equipped with very comfortable bed, tea/coffee facilities and a small fridge. Friendly helpful staff. Things to do in the hostel as well as outside. Very friendly atmosphere which encourages people to tak to each other. You almost don't wanna leave.

Very easy to find - we got the bus from Train station to Colombare. (Bottom end of Sirmione, great place to stay. Shuttle bus for 1 euro takes you to main area which is about 35 mins walk, nice walk though) The area is quiet and roads very clean with lovely flower borders all along.
