Every person I interacted with was a delight, friendly and knowledgeable from the bar and wait staff through to the reception and housekeeping staff. The hotel is well located in Reykjavik and all the main attractions are walkable - even in heavy snow and ice. The rooms are clean, large and well laid out with great quality showers. I cannot rate this hotel and the staff more highly, they were even able to secure a taxi for us during heavy snow and ice when our transfer cancelled on us. There is a lovely cafe on sight with a range of pastries and coffee to start your day. You could walk to multiple locations from this area.
