The 'Comfort Suite' was fantastic. A slightly odd layout with the bed in the kitchen but it was clean, the staff were friendly and we shared the swimming pool with just one neighbour. The 'residence' is made up of a lot of separate buildings, so it feels very much as though you have your own place. There's ample parking and the view was breathtaking.

The hotel was in a beautiful setting and the staff could not have been more helpful. As it is the low season we had the pool and hotel to ourselves some days. At the weekends it does get busy as the locals come to use the pool and have dinner. Hiring a car is essential, we thought we could hire bikes but the hills are just too steep. The food was lovely. The only down was the mosquitos and sand flies. Take spray! We hardly ventured onto balcony because of them. Road noise did not bother us but...

Treated myself to a solo trip and night and what a treat it was. Extremely pricey, but seriously indulging. Late check out must be booked in advance in case you didn’t know (I didn’t) and so I had to fork out an extra €200 to upgrade to a different room and pay for late check out (which annoyingly they waived for my friend who stayed there a week beforehand)

Lovely location and the quiet beach was good with enjoyable swimming and snorkling The facilities and service were a bit underwhelming. The breakfast restaurant is expensive and the bar not open and the beach restaurant not open each day. Housekeeping didn't always happen without asking.

The hotel itself was very clean with good facilities but our room would have benefitted from a bit of modernisation and tlc. Our room had a lovely view overlooking the garden. The food served was fresh and varied. Overall a good base to explore Guadeloupe

My wife and I stayed for ten nights at Langley Resort and were really impressed with everything about it. The bungalow we stayed in was simple, clean and spacious with good air con and an amazing shower. The views were breathtaking. (We had a bungalow with a sea view). The regular maid service was excellent too; such lovely friendly, helpful people.
The on-site restaurant served a lovely selection of food for breakfast and we liked to sit beside the beach eating as pelicans were dive-bombing...

I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel. There are of course things that can be improved, but overall, if you want to go on holidays in Guadeloupe, this is a great place to go.
Take my rating of 5 stars as a relative rating compared to other hotels on the island, not to an absolute rating against all hotels all over the world (for that it would probably be more of a 4 stars).
Great:
-Safe, gated hotel, you won't have to worry about your car at night or about what you leave behind...
