Was curious about Andy Murray's investment in a country hotel. But as I drove up the private road you could see why. It's a lovely secluded residence. It was a relatively quiet night I stayed at with maybe 33-50% occupancy, and I was given a nice upgrade. The fixtures and fittings were extremely high tier, mixed with antique/period pieces. An excellent hotel with character, class, and great service. I can understand why The Balmoral Hotel is such a famous place to stay when visiting Edinburgh.

Lovely hotel and very central. Parking for 4 cars with a car park near by. Had a single room which was very comfortable and warm. Thanks all.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at the Apex Dundee, our room was really comfortable and spacious with a fabulous view across to the Tay Bridge and V&A. We ate in the restaurant and bar and everything was fresh and tasty. Looking forward to coming back!

Hotel and Spa staff were very welcoming and helpful. Chef was amazing cooked a special vegan meal for my daughter each night we ate in hotel, as there was nothing suitable for her on menu. Room was comfortable and we had everything we required (only feedback I would give is that it would have been more useful to have a couple more sockets available). Hotel, surrounding grounds, and St Andrews itself was fantastic. Well worth a visit even as none golfers.. Mr and Mrs Sutton were extremely impressed with all of the staff, in particular Levinne who went the extra mile for us…. A very warm welcome awaits Levinne and family if she ever visits Devon!!

My son and his partner found this to be a very welcoming place and they really enjoyed their stay. My son was wished a Happy Birthday and their room was lovely. They loved the Breakfasts and enjoyed the facilities. I expect they will return in the future. Thank you

It was absolutely lovely! Very close to Edinburgh Waverley and some lovely restaurants. Calton Hill is right next door as well. The front desk staff was very helpful, and the room was plush and clean. We wish we could stay longer!

Our room exceptionally clean. The location of the hotel was perfect and the car parking facilities were very particularly useful - and unusual to find within a city break. The club lounge was also a real treat.

Our stay at the hotel was amazing! Our favourite part was using the steam room, sauna and pool! All the staff were extremely helpful, kind and friendly which was so amazing! The breakfast was great with a good varied selection which was very much enjoyed! I will definitely be staying again!

All the staff we encountered were helpful and friendly. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The bed was big and very comfortable. The spa facilities were good but even though it wasn't busy we didn't manage to get to relax in the hot tub as it is very popular. We were disappointed about that. Breakfast was generous and great quality.

booked as an overnight stay as we returned back home after a holiday on Skye, a great hotel with really friendly efficient staff everywhere, nothing was too much trouble for anyone - loved the welcoming warm chocolate brownies on arrival.
