Fantastic hotel - we loved the old colours and decor Really really lovely and we will certainly be back - and oh yes the best shower in the world !!!

Clean and comfortable room, tasty breakfast, friendly staff, easy parking and easy access to the town centre. Would stay again if visiting Hull.

Cannot say a bad word about this place. Staff where great, room was spotless, parking on site at a small fee considering its a city. Room has air-conditioning and heating. Fresh drinking water stations along corridors, very useful when you forget water for the room.

Great location, perfect room, great help, did everything to help us as we went for the tour de yorkshire and the roads were closed at 11am, so they emailed is to come early and we could get a parking space and they let us check in early, thank you for all the help you gave us

weather was great so the walking to and from the Hostel was ok even though this was day 3 of watching bands all over Yorkshire!! great to see a familiar face on reception from previous trips who used to work elsewhere, the check in was straightforward and a bottom bunk had been reserved for me as I have arthritis, thank you, rested a while before the gig. a very comfortable nights kip and simple hand in door key and off to continue the mission....will be back soon

We love staying here. We were at an event at Magna, the hotel is only a 10 minute drive away. There are reasonable priced pubs close by and a large morrisons if you need snacks. The beds are super comfy we slept 10 hrs which was really lovely. Will always return. Loved the free cookies too.

Lovely room. V.v.helpful and pleasant staff. Excellent dinner menu- food was amazing! .

Staff were lovely and very helpful. I am recovering from surgery and use a crutch at present, one member of staff helped me move tables without being prompted.

Great location and price. Full of character very welcoming and comfy. Considering the age of the building they have managed the space and updated the hotel with modern facilities. Personal touches of tea coffee and biscuits and toiletries,hairdryer etc. Included breakfast was fresh and good in choice of cereals fresh fruit toasts jams and many varieties of cooked breakfasts to your liking. Overall great value for money and centre location for town exploring.

Had the most magical stay at this hotel! I stayed in the sorceryum room and i felt like i had been transported back in time. My bed was so comfortable and i slept like a dream. Havnt stopped talking about this hotel since iv got back home, and many people now want to experience it for themselves. I will definitely be back

We had a wonderful 7-night stay in this apartment. It was much bigger than expected, spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, the shower was excellent with a large cubicle, and the kitchen was well equipped with plenty of crockery, dishes and cutlery. We wanted a hotel close to the Shambles and the Christmas market. We found the Judges Court in the perfect location and loved the look of the rooms on the website. It was a short walk from the train station and the Judges Court did not disappoint, nor did the staff who could not have been more helpful. We highly recommend the Judges Court.

Extremely friendly staff welcoming and eager to please nothing appears to be too much trouble,moved rooms with no problems as I wanted a room with a bath. Both rooms we used were themed in keeping with the hotel history but with all essentials for a comfortable stay. Room 7 must have the best view from a hotel window in York. Does the job of an overnight stay perfectly. Sure the decor & furniture could do with some TLC but for the price it’s more than adequate. The bedding was clean & comfortable & the room had everything you’d need provided. The staff were good very helpful. I’d stayed here before & won’t have any problem staying here again.
