Our room (number 8) was perfect. Breakfast was fantastic, and as we had an early flight at the end of our stay, a tasty picnic breakfast was left for us for our 6 am departure. The staff were all attentive and helpful, especially Lisja, who greeted us warmly for every breakfast.

This hotel was an absolute gem! Centrally located with fantastic access to the old town and plenty of restaurants within easy walking distance. The facilities were amazing, with the pool right on our doorstep — perfect for cooling down and relaxing in the evenings. The hotel is amongst the best we've stayed in. The room is comfortable with great views over the gardens. The food is good, but what makes the hotel outstanding is the service from the staff. They are very friendly and attentive, nothing is too much trouble and you are always greeted with a smile. The hotel has a unique thermal pool with a constant 35-40oC temperature. The hotel provide robes and towels to use at the pool, which is just as well as the iron rich water stains everything...

Clean, kitchen had everything that was needed. Sea views. Staff so helpful, above and beyond what was expected. Use of hot tub, swimming pool, sauna, turkish steam room and gym. Even a playroom for kids. Only issue was that the laundry was really expensive. A washing machine available to guests would have been useful even with a charge.

Great hotel for a family stay- double bed, single bed & sofa bed. All lovely & clean including the pool area. Breakfast was good quality with plenty of choice. Bit of a walk to town & Praia Vitoria isn't the most attractive spot in the Azores but was ideal as a base.

Villa had all you could want, ingenious design . Very helpful staff who went out of their way to help in any way - good tourist info , and the restaurant was excellent. Trying very hard to make this new venture a success- they deserve it! Location great for the long sandy beach and wave watching.

Hi everyone. This hotel is located in the north of the island and easily accessible from the capital, Ponta Delgada in 20 min by car mostly in a motorway. Its right on the coast with a beach a few meters away. There's nothing bad to mention about this hotel. Its clean, friendly and full of the right amenities for a place with this classification. I spent a short off-season break at the Marina Atlantico Hotel. The hotel is modern, clean and furbished to a high standard. It provided a perfect base to explore Sao Miguel.

We really enjoyed our 10 night stay at Pedras do Mar resort. Great facilities and some really nice staff. Beautiful location and only 15 mins by car to Ponta Delgada. If you want to be able to walk around a town and choose from bars/restaurants every evening this is not the resort for you, although having said that, a taxi is only 15 euros in to Ponta Delgada where there is plenty to choose from. Beautiful new house with spacious comfortable bedrooms and lovely communal kitchen and living areas. We didn’t use the hot tub but it looked inviting. Would recommend taking own food to cook as it is a long walk down to the town and very limited cafe options

Hotel is nice, check-in was quick and easy. All was clean and stafg was extremely helpful. Location is close to the little marina with a beach, pretty much across the local road from the hotel. Unfortunately, we did not have time to check the sauna.

Stayed at the São Miguel Park hotel for a week with my husband and 21 months old son. We were given a triple room which was very spacious. Breakfast was really good and had a wide selection of cheeses, local bread and fresh fruit. Staff were very friendly and very attentive to my son's needs (he's got multiple allergies).
