Although not on the lake front the hotel is very close to the town (less than 5 minutes walk). From the imbarcadero most of the rest of the lake can be reached (managed to get to Riva del Garda, Limone sul Garda, Salo and Sirmione during my stay). The train station is also close make trips to other towns such as Verona and Mantua very accessible. The hotel is very comfortable with a good breakfast buffet. Lovely room, good storage,. Balcony for summer use. Lovely walk-in shower. Staff extremely pleasant and accommodating. They all spoke excellent English. Lake view and less than 100 metres from centre of town with restaurants etc. Couldn't fault it.

Really great feeling about hotel. Staff particularly helpful and friendly. Can you book me a taxi?. Can you find me a decent restaurant? Can I have extra towels?. Everything answered quickly and politely, some five star hotels would do well to be this polite. If you are used to five star hotels, this will not disappoint. Rooms very clean, good size, pool beds really excellent, food and drinks excellent and very reasonably priced.

We enjoyed our weeks stay at Residence Il Sogno. It was very central for everything. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The towels etc. were changed as required and apartment cleaned daily. Our apartment had a large balcony with attractive views over to the Lake. The swimming pool looked very inviting but it was too cold to use as yet.

Although a little dated in the rooms and halls you very quickly forget about all that as it's friendly, comfortable and in a great location. Rooms are smallish but nice. Decent TV. Good shower and bathroom and good enough aircon.. Staff so friendly and helpful, reception very smart, breakfast and breakfast room lovely and a 2 min walk to the main lakefront area of the town. This is a great hotel. It's in a very good location for travelling and sightseeing. It's 25 minutes walk to the train station so you can visit other cities like Verona and Venice. It's also close to the port so you can take a boat trip around the lake. It's close to the beach for lovers of swimming. The view onto the lake is beautiful, however, it does look out onto the main road so it can get quite noisy at night. It's fine if you close the window and the view is worth it.

We only stayed one night, but it was a great location. Very friendly and easy to find. We had a studio room, so it is geared up for self catering. There is a restaurant next door for those who prefer not to cater. Great view of Lake Garda towards Sirmione. Nice big infinity pool.

I love this hotel, its tucked up a little side street minites from the lakeside. The Piazza and shops are all close by. Our room was clean and quiet with everything you need. Breakfast was plentiful and very tasty. The staff are great. Alway a smile. If you get the chance eat at the trattoria attached, the food is gorgeous and Andy made the whole experience brilliant.

I surprised my boyfriend with this hotel for his 30th. The images looked amazing on the website, and when we arrived we were totally over the moon. The hotel was something else, 5* service, Michelin restauraunt, beautiful decor, very scenic and peaceful location, it was a true romantic getaway, tucked away in the vineyards. The Palazzo Monga is a truly unique and beautiful boutique hotel. Restored to a very high level, it was undoubtedly one of the most impressive hotels I’ve stayed in. The location in the centre of Verona was perfect for seeing everything easily. The concierge Arthur was incredibly friendly and helpful, as was the owner Julia. I can’t recommend this hotel highly enough!

The view from room 602 (Mini-Suite) was jaw dropping and enhanced by the cloudless blue sky, mill pond view of the lake and a backdrop of the mountains with snow caps.
