Lovely hotel. Lake views are stunning, worth the upgrade. Half board options were excellent. Each meal was lovely, the restaurant is spacious and the service is very good.

Spacious room facing the lake with an amazing view from the large balcony, top spot! Excellent dining experience at the Ristorante Caravaggio. Definitely will come back to this place with more time to enjoy the spa.

I thought the view from my hotel room was superb. The hotel was a bit out of the way from Desenzano town. To get to the pier it required a taxi or bus ride & walk 100m in the heat. Taxis were hard to come by at times. The staff did the best they could to search out taxis for me. My hotel room was clean, spacious and well appointed. It was cleaned daily. The food staff were very helpful. I did think it a bit much to charge for water. I had to ask for tea making facilities. I enjoyed my stay there

Great hotel with great amenities! We used the pool every day (bring rubber sandals if you want to use the pool). Staff was great, room was clean and a good size. The gym was disappointing. They only had about 20% of free weights. The cardio equipment and unniversal weight machines were poorly maintained.

Good hotel, lot's of conferences on throughout the day which is a bit odd for a hotel where you have to walk through the main lobby to get to the pool. Only bar open is also in this area and rarely manned, difficult to get service as hotel is short staffed. Location is further from Desanzano that would be ideal, probably around a 40 mins walk, bus is very good and only a few mins. Local bars and restaurants round the hotel all lovely. Pool of lovely and very clean, although wearing swim caps provided is mandatory. Pool bar not open or hasn't been used in a long time, you have to go down to main bar which is less than ideal. Reception staff are very nice, however I unable to pre-book taxis to train station etc which is very unfortunate. Breakfast is ok not great, options of hot or cold but not very many options and additional items like omlettes come at an extra charge. Depending on staff working at breakfast you may or may not get a coffee. The area of the lake this hotel is on has warnings not to swim due to birds in the lake and possible disease.

Lovely hotel in a great location on Lake Garda.

Lovely hotel in a great location on the shores of Lake Garda. We had a comfortable two-night stay here with our toddler, and enjoyed the location and excellent breakfast. The bar is especially excellent at this hotel - not only is the range of drinks huge and varied (there's even a range of local beers, not just Heineken), but it's very reasonably priced. Quality hotel, I recommend it!

We've stayed 9 years in a row. The hotel has a nice pool, bar and restaurant. You can walk into Rivoltela to local restaurants easily. The staff are friendly and helpful and provide great service.

The hotel was in a perfect location for Is coming from Milan and only a few minutes drive to Sirmione. We enjoyed our stay here and had a great dinner at the hotel restaurant. The staff was very helpful in offering child options and we all enjoyed a very nice meal. The spa and pool were also nice and great for our baby. Definitely recommend staying at this hotel - great location

Excellent quality and value We have stayed here twice now the breakfast is fantastic, indoor pool and spa are lovely. Just wish the outside pool and sun loungers overlooking Lake Garda were open, the explanation I got was it was to early in the Season and they will open in May. For the British like myself the weather was ideal and at around 21/22 degrees the Outdoor spaces should have been open. Thanks a lovely stay otherwise 👍

Great stay at Acquaviva. We got a nice room with lake view and Balcony. Staff was courteous and nice. Breakfast had a lot of options. Hotel is a 45 mins walk to downtown Desenzano (lake front walk with a great view) and 1:30 walk to Sirmione. We absolutely adored the tratoria del pescatore that is a few blocks away. Spa was great too, the only down thing is that there is no spa tub like advised and they force you to wear a swim cap
