This cool retreat is perfect for small families or friends looking for a relaxing getaway. Enjoy the convenience of amenities like a full well equipped kitchen, in-floor radiant heating, wood stove, outdoor grill, and dining area with sweeping views. The 2 bathrooms have Mexican Talavera sinks, and Moroccan tile. Plus, there's a cozy private sitting room. Fall in love with the serenity of the La Garita's Mountains and enjoy the magic it has to offer. A great place to relax and gaze out at the spectacular Sangre de Cristo mountains.
Drop back in time and hike or bike Penitente Canyon, Elephant Rocks, and the many quiet trails and two tracks in the area. Nearby is quaint classic western town Del Norte with restaurants and shopping. Explore the nearby Great Sand Dunes, historic San Luis Valley and Rio Grande river activities.

Please lock doors and close/latch windows when leaving. Close curtains. Put smelly trash in outdoor can near grill and place rock back on top so wind does not blow it away.
Please leave used towels on towel bars or hooks in bathrooms. Please leave the outdoor entry light or kitchen sink light on.
Do not leave any food in the refrigerator. Especially perishable food. Leave the place as you found it (neat and tidy).

We had a wonderful stay! There were a few minor issues, but Jeet was quick to respond and correct the issues. The home is comfortable and has everything you need. Great location!
