"Very clean and well-appointed hotel that mixes historic ambiance with modern conveniences. Shopping and dining options close by, onsite, or walkable. However, the parking can be challenging in the evenings because of a restaurant that shares access to the parking lot. It is my choice hotel location when visiting Farmville, VA."

"Nicely renovated 1980 era motor lodge. The staff is exceptional. The rooms are small but typical of the 80’s. They will be opening a bar and grill next door. We went to a soft opening and it should be a good place to relax. They are still in the process of further room renovations. A phased project. Would come back! "

"This cabin was perfect for our family. Very clean and organized. Well appointed kitchen with plenty of supplies for us to cook some meals together. Our girls loved the loft with game table and spending some time in hot tub which was clean and perfect temp even for them. The decor of cabin is cute and welcoming. "A really charming and quirky house, perched on an overlook above a bend in the James river. Very friendly host, nice grounds, and plenty to explore in the surroundings. We did some outdoor grilling and a fire in the pit on a very starry night. The kids were disappointed that the hottub wasn't working that weekend, but there were plenty of games and some swings nearby to keep them occupied."
