Beautiful renovated boutique hotel right in the hub of Farmville. Spacious room, wonderful shower and bath, and a sweet breakfast. Staff was very helpful and the rooftop view of the city was fantastic! Saw the sunset and the moon rise. Great place to land after cycling the High Bridge Trail and we got on the trail right near the hotel.

Great location and comfortable room. Was in town for the bike trail and the hotel was great to use. First floor in the addition was great for bikes. Just rolled in from outside and straight into room. Great staff. Could use coffee bar early morning.

Overall, a good stay. Have stayed at HW before. Did notice a slight dropoff in the original wing compared to the newest wing in terms of room amenities and hallways. Had a problem with my reservation at check-in. After a relatively short wait the front-desk staff worked to resolve and honor my reservation. Would like to give a shout out to Rose in housekeeping and Sierra at the front desk. Both provided great customer service and were pleasant and professional!

From the moment we walked in, it felt as though we had stepped back in time. The hotel's historic character was beautifully preserved, while our room was surprisingly modern, spacious, and exceptionally comfortable. The best part was that everything we needed for a great evening was right there. We started with drinks at the rooftop bar, enjoyed a wonderful dinner at the attached restaurant, and then spent time at the lively nightlife bar located directly behind the hotel. This is the perfect destination for a romantic one-night escape. Combined with the charm of the surrounding small town, the hotel creates an unforgettable experience that makes you feel like you've been coming there for years.

This hotel is located in downtown Farmville and within easy walking distance to Main Street and the Green Front furniture facilities. Several good restaurants located close by. Hotel has a roof top bar that can be fun. Room is spacious and clean. We really enjoyed staying at this historic hotel.

The property is located in a great location. My room must of had some remodeling going on, there was drywall dust all over the floor, I asked a housekeeper if it could be vacuumed up and she did right away. They are short staffed so some of the dining options weren’t available. All of the staff I met were great.

Beautiful historic hotel. A few updates are needed, but minor. The bathroom, shower, and bathroom itself were beautiful. The restaurant and rooftop bar were on-site and nice as well. The views were beautiful.
