Half opened?
It's weird, this is half finished hotel. The staff was nice enough however nothing worked right. The fridge was broken, the front door wouldn't even open and needed to be forced open physically.

Great place to stay! Only recommendations would be to improve street signage and to provide designated outdoor smoking area. Will definitely stay there again on next trip.

I appreciate the cleanliness, but a few things were broke. Such as bent he's outside. Also a personal grill near the entrance.

This hotel is nasty, do yourself a favor and don't stay here. When you walk in it looks nice but after that it went downhill. I was looking for a negative rating but couldn't find it. Don’t be fooled. Found a good deal for this hotel and the recent ratings (which now seem fake) didn't seem horrible and the photos looked nice so we gave it a try. Very disappointed!!!!! Looks nothing like the photos displayed. The worse smelling room ever!!! Did not stay because of the smell! When we first walked in it had a foul smell. We thought that maybe it was because the ac wasn’t on. We turned on the ac and left to go family member house to visit. We got back at the hotel at 9:45pm and left at 10:00pm to drive the 3hr home. There was mold in the bathroom ceiling, carpet was dirty and in some areas the carpet wasn’t fixed correctly, drawers were left open and the room just felt nasty. Strange people were walking inside and outside made me feel uncomfortable. The parking was horrible cause a lot of construction workers stay there. As you walk by some of the rooms outside you see boards in the windows or junk thrown in the rooms. We usually never complain and thought about sticking it out but the longer we stayed the smell was making us ill. We both felt compliantly nasty. We both looked at each other and said I can’t take it any longer. As we left the employee was sleeping on the couch in the lobby, didn’t even see us walk out. So, who knows what comes and goes as he is sleeping.

The property is clean and I feel safe there. I work at the hospital every quarter and the hotel is directly across the street. The staff is always very nice. The price of rooms is very reasonable. Since it is economical, the amenities are not high end but that's a choice you make for a clean quiet stay for a good price. Each room has a nice little kitchenet with a full size refrigerator/freezer, sink, and microwave. I go to HEB and get skim milk and a few other items that I like to eat and make use of the kitchenet. The breakfast has few choices but when other area hotels charge around $30 a night more, the breakfast is not that important. They do serve it so a person does not go hungry. There is no hotel sign on the highway entrance so you have to really pay attention to your GPS to find it. It is not easy to see the hotel and even the sign on the front of the hotel is small. There is a visible hotel in front of this one and merely an unmarked driveway that leads to this hotel. I have stayed there 3 times and intend to use it as my go-to hotel because I get a good night's sleep and like the location when working in the area.

Solid choice over all
Booked one night, ended up staying two. I’ve stayed here before about a year ago & it wasn’t nearly as nice or clean. Staff says the place has been been bought by new owners in the last 6 months & it seems to have been a complete turnaround in the condition of the hotel. This is a older building; the elevator is noisy & the floors creak. My room was clean for the most part aside from the dust and spider webs in the corners. Over all, my stay was good. No noise, plenty of breakfast, and the staff was very welcoming especially Ms. April from the front desk who was most helpful during our stay. I would stay here again. They do serve the Texas waffles with the complementary breakfast from 6a-9a. ***Please be aware of the price to delay checkout. The price for me this day was $25/hour which is $$$ considering the room was only $55-$65 a night. I ended up booking another night just to get my money’s worth.

As you walk in you think its a beautiful Hotel. As you get on the elevator and it creaks you wonder. You hit the 3rd floor and its hot, muggy and mold smelling. Carpets were filthy

This hotel has been our go-to when staying in Cuero. It has always been clean and comfortable with friendly staff. The name changed several months ago but the place is still clean with friendly, helpful staff. However, the beds changed and are not as comfortable as they used to be. Other than that, its a great place to stay.

Very clean. Poor lighting in room. One lamp not working which wasn't fixed till next day. Staff don't come in to make bed or clean at all when staying more than one night. Very quiet which was lovely. Breakfast okay Will stay again.

This is a property that is being improved. Our room was nice and clean. It would be idea for an extended stay due to a full size refrigerator and ample space. It was quiet too. On the downside, breakfast was limited. It is difficult the property to find at night. We would definitely come back.

Overall the hotel was very nice. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. The only drawbacks were the hotel doesn't have a sign on the highway let you know where it is and it sits behind another hotel so we passed it up several times, the room we occupied is lacking sufficient lighting and the bed was a little uncomfortable for us with the mattress being a tad bit too firm. Otherwise everything else was fine

The hotel was completely booked this weekend, having that many guests, we could not space everyone out to have minimal noise issues. Our front desk staff is always willing to address issues like this if they are brought to their attention.

It took 5-10 minutes before someone came to the front desk for me to check in. The room had died flies/bugs, someone else’s hair on the sheets, sink, and tub. The tub had some dead black tiny bugs in it and someone else’s hair on the sides, and the back of the toilet wasn’t cleaned. The room didn’t come with an iron or iron board in the room. Fixtures like lambs rusted up. The room had a mildew like smell that was making me nauseous. The night receptionists was friendly and was available. It wasn’t any pictures on the wall. You could hear the floor boards and the people in the room above us.

The property is a good value for the money. It is difficult to find because there is not a sign at the entrance. However, once in, the staff was nice and the room was quiet and clean. There was not much to the breakfast. If you go to breakfast close to the end time, there is no milk for drinking or for the cereal.
