The property was very clean. Loved the amenities. The staff was not super friendly but they were not rude, just not friendly. We went during off peak season so many restaurants were closed or closed early. Otherwise it was a nice and relaxing. There are cats on the resort in case someone has allergies but they are all throughout the Island as well. Loved the ocean view.

Overall it was a good experience. I didn't know that there wasn't daily room service which is important to me. The property could be better maintained. For example the stairs going down to the front parking lot was always covered in leaves,flowers, and chicken poop. The seaweed was terrible but they were always working on clearing it out. We were out of the resort most of the time so I didn't mind the downsides. The ac in my kids room didn't work. The lock on the slider wasn't working. Could definitely use better maintainence but I must say this resort was in a convenient location so we made the best of it.

"Unfortunately, the pool was under construction during our stay and unusable, but we didn't allow that to stop us. The beach was quite and relaxing, thus Westin has a family vibe and good for children. The staff was friendly. I do think they can do better at advertising the water and children's activities. ..."
