"We had an incredible stay and would absolutely return. The property was exactly what we were looking for—comfortable, clean, and in a fantastic location that made it easy to explore the island while still feeling like a peaceful retreat.The views were beautiful, and we especially appreciated having a place where we could relax after long days of snorkeling and exploring. The home was well-equipped with everything our family needed, and the check-in process was seamless. Communication with the host was excellent throughout our stay.We spent our days enjoying Trunk Bay, Maho Bay, Cinnamon Bay, Coral Bay, and driving all over the island. Having a comfortable place to come back to each evening made the trip even better. The location struck a great balance between convenience and privacy, and we never had any issues getting around.One thing we especially appreciated was how well the property matched the listing. There were no unpleasant surprises—everything was accurately represented, clean, and well maintained.St. John is one of the most beautiful places we’ve ever visited, and this home played a big part in making the trip memorable. "Property is exactly as described, property manager was awesome. Property was clean and had a great ocean view. The only compliant I would have, is the king sized bed mattress. The king mattress is extremely soft and has sagged so much that the center sinks into a V‑shape. No matter where you lie, you end up sliding toward the middle. It offers almost no back support, and you feel stuck in a dip, which makes it surprisingly hard to get out of bed. Other than the mattress I thought the property was great."

We especially loved spending time on the patio, taking in the gorgeous views and enjoying the quiet mornings and beautiful sunsets.The hosts were fantastic, friendly, responsive, and made the entire process seamless from booking through checkout. It was clear they genuinely care about providing a great experience for their guests.If you’re looking for a comfortable, private, and beautiful place to stay while exploring St. John, we highly recommend Romance Villa. "We had a group of 6 adults for the week. There was more than adequate space for our group. I was not aware when we booked that the two bedrooms on the lower level did not access the main living room and kitchen space. Our crew on the lower level sure did get our steps in for the week! Also, the drive way was incredibly steep. Those are two things I would have like to known. Katja, the manager, was accessible via cell phone/text messages, so the few things we needed fixed/repaired went straight to her. The house has an awesome view of the Caribbean Sea, the weather was perfect and we made most all of our meals in the well appointed kitchen."

"Our stay here was wonderful! The setting is lovely and peaceful. It's on a hill, and much of St. John is hillside living and driving. It isn't a fancy place, yet all the basics are there for a pleasant, restful vacation, with a few extras that made it an even better experience. . It's close to Cruz Bay with access to the road leading to the beaches. Communication with the host once we were there was very good. It is solar powered, a big plus as island power is not always dependable. While we were there we did not need the AC, as the windows provided great cross breezes."

Leading up to our stay Brandon and Ashley answered all my questions and gave me helpful links and information about the home as well as the area. Our greeter, Henrietta, was awesome! She met us there at the property to show us around the home and gave us helpful advice. Such a peaceful location, beautiful home, we had a wonderful stay on the island."
