This property is nice and the staff is super nice. My couple of issues I had was this property is NOT for those who have walking issues. I never got to see the beautiful villa that I requested because you have to walk about a half mile from the front desk uphill and around the corner (no shuttles or anything to use). I walk with a cane and that journey 1 way was a wipe out. Additionally, no restaurant on property. This location is like 3 minutes off of the airport. So, there is NO close food either. So, staying here, you will have to take a taxi just to get into town or access a safari.

So here’s the thing: This place probably used to be majestic, and the more people that stay there, the better I assume it will get, from the revenue generated. It’s currently mid-renovation, and only one of the big houses is even open. So you’re basically getting a studio apartment (maybe there are bigger suites) on the side of a Caribbean mountain (my cabbie said, “this is just a little hill…”). You CAN see the city and the water, but neither is all that close so rent your own car or spend more on taxis than the room. If you’re looking for a resort, this ain’t it. (We just went down to them tho.) BUT if you’re like me, and what you’re looking for is an experience like the people who live in the place where you went, this charming little spot is great. The room interior was clean, comfortable, plenty secluded—granted we were there in the relative off-season, a mid-March weekend stay. So my five stars are probably a little misleading, but I would still recommend Boundless Bliss

Beautiful views of the water. The room was clean, comfortable, and the host was great to deal with.

Most of the property was beautiful. However their beach was not maintained and was completely covered with sargassum. Definitely not the best smell if you’re sitting on your patio, at the pools, or eating at Margaritaville. To put it mildly, the area around the resort is somewhere between the 9th ward in NOLA and 8 mile in Detroit. Trash and junk vehicles fill the yards on Smith Bay Rd. Shady characters walk the streets at all hours of the day and night. STT has a high homicide rate, so travelers be aware of your surroundings.

The property was a quiet and peaceful place that was directly on the beach and there was no smelly seaweed like there is at other resorts. It is dated and needs renovations desperately. The staff was excellent. The front desk was awesome, restaurant was awesome. My only complaint is the dated furniture and bathroom. The bathroom felt like a gym locker room where you needed shower shoes to shower.
