The view is amazing but you need a gulf cart to pick you up and take you to the lobby area or up to the upper deck pool. The property although beautiful, is very hard to get around. The smell down by the lobby and restaurant is strong! Bring lots of cash because taxis operate on cash only basis, and tip money for the golf cart pickups. Overall beautiful island and resort!

The property was great. The only problem was the beach was closed because of the large amount of seaweed which really smelled. But they had shuttles available to take you to other beaches. The staff was great and very helpful.

We had an amazing time at Margaritaville. The seaweed was an inconvenience at this time of year but the Resort accommodated transportation to the nearby beach hassle free. Everyone was very helpful and patient with us since it was our first time visiting.

We had a great stay in spite of the sargassum! They offer shuttles to other beaches and honestly the smell was only bad in the mornings and that was at the main area and pool. Amazing room amazing view! Helpful staff but bring cash for tips if you’re golf farting around. A little salesy upon arrival bc it is a vacation club but all very nice. Complimentary margs upon arrival! Shots one day! Kids activities! Lots of fun in the sun!

Smells bad from seaweed, the beach is dog out and has been for years( was told by a local it’s always been that way) it’s kinda run down like it was really nice 15 years ago. The staff is friendly. Just the property could have been cleaner and could be transparent about their beach that’s gone. If you stay here you have to walk to another beach or visit other beaches.
