"Great location for travel to central Oxford. "

"The hotel is located within easy walking distance of public transport. The room was comfortable and generally calm. Reception staff and cleaning staff were friendly and helpful. The gym is really excellent. Certainly one of the best I have used, well provisioned with excellent equipment, water, apples (a really nice touch) and towels. The only complaint is that we had to ask for the room to be 'refreshed'. "

"Large hotel, Chalet style with large rooms, good amenities and clean bathrooms. Good choice of bar food and usually showing live sport, otherwise quieter more formal dinning room and lobby area serving drinks and food. Easy parking and very pleasant staff, overall very welcoming stay."

"We had a really lovely spacious room with a little patio and outdoor seating. The bed was very comfortable, lovely clean bedding, and the bathroom was spotless. Very nice toiletries. We decided to have dinner at the last minute which was really very nice. Nice river walk into the centre of Oxford rather than walking along the main road. The only negative was having to pay £25 for parking! "

"Step into Room 18 , although signed , is a bit precarious if you are unsteady on your feet . Light switch to bathroom kept falling off . Breakfast , although nice , is overpriced . Location is very convenient for city Centre . "

"Outstanding, everything and everyone brilliant"

"Room was clean and decent size for family of 4 however it was extremely hot. Couldn’t sleep first night however next morning we raised this issue and was provided with fans. Saw other guests complaint about same issue so I guess it’s common. Parking was stressful, their carpark was expensive and full so had to quickly drop everything then park at the mall carpark for £7 a day. No cars allowed in front of hotel except for buses. You have to go around to get to the hotel carpark"
