"Room was supposed to be a refurbished room but was dated and in need of repair, my child even got stuck in the bathroom due to a broken door surround. Some staff were very unhelpful and lacked basic customer service. Food was over priced for what it was; the pizza from the woodshed we would not recommend but the bar food was nice. Wouldn't go back to this hotel or recommend it to others. "

"Dated & tired property in severe need of an upgrade, a lot of things in the room didnt work , heated rail in the toilet, fan in the shower room, TV didnt work initially Overall the place was clean & tidy On our stay we had the buffet breakfast option along with limited continental breakfast option Situated on the outskirts of the town within easy walking distance"

"The staff were exceptional and made us all feel very welcome. The breakfasts and meal we enjoyed in the restaurant were first class. The bar was a lovely place to spend time and the whiskey knowledge was incredible. The room was very comfortable great water pressure and super comfy bed. Would return in a heartbeat."
