"Such a lovely property, in a beautiful building, beautiful area, and beautifully decorated. The rooms were spotless and tidy and the beds, comfortable. We can't recommend this property enough. The only slight sadness is that the bathrooms are so small (can't be helped) and the main room doesn't serve breakfast. While it is offered in bedrooms, the common room on the ground floor is beautiful and larger, with the perfect table to invite people to greet one another and build community. "

"Lovely peaceful place. In beautiful surroundings. Very attentive helpful staff. Nice breakfast. Modern shower-room. Good wifi. Views of sheep and hills. Very close to Buckfast Abbey conference centre. They also have a courtesy minivan to collect from stations or give lifts if anyone wants a trip away without a car (but I didn't use that as I had my bike - which was accomodated nicely). Faultless. "A perfect overnight stay at a beautiful historic property. Our large room was very comfortable, including the softest sheets. Lounge with open fire to relax in. Breakfast was excellent with homemade granola and local produce perfectly cooked. The drive from the main road was longer and windier than we expected and if we are able to make a return visit we will try and arrive in daylight. Also a short walk from the car park to the front drive for anyone with mobility problems. "

"On arrival the owners were very welcoming greeting us by our names giving it that personal touch. The rooms are light fresh and clean but most importantly we’re ready for us when we checked in. The location of the property is perfect as it is close to the beach. The breakfast was delicious and there was plenty of it to set us up for the day. We will definitely recommend staying there to friends and family "

"I booked for two nights but left after one due to the poor hygiene. Apart from fresh bed linen everything else was dirty. There was even food left in the fridge from previous occupants. They advertise that breakfast is included, but they do not offer breakfast. Their advert is not a true reflection of what they are offerring."

"The property was spotlessly clean and comfortable and a beautiful garden, Neil was able to cater for my fussy Husband at dinner and B/fast was ample and cooked fresh with plenty of variety, we wouldn't hesitate to return if in the area again."

"The Mole Resort is absolutely FABULOUS! Lodges are spacious, very clean and well equipped with own parking space at the door to the lodge. It is a quiet resort (whilst I was there anyway!) and this was well received. The team are easily contacted via WhatsApp which is great and there was only 1 issue I needed to bring to their attention (patio door did not lock during my stay, thought to be caused by the hot weather). The grounds are lovely, great to walk the dog, and although I did not visit...

"Overall we enjoyed our stay but there was a few things that took the edge off a perfect break. The shower in the en-suite bedroom leaked through the kitchen ceiling so we couldn’t use it which meant that nine of us had to use the one other shower! The French door/window in the lounge was difficult to open & close and the rain came in at the bottom right side and the carpet got wet and we couldn’t open the bi fold doors in the dining area. The cutlery wasn’t very clean so we had to wash it all...
