"Stayed here for a wedding at Cornhill Castle. The room was warm and comfortable, bathroom a little dated, but perfectly functional. Nice cooked breakfast in the morning. Staff were friendly and helpful. Great for what we needed."

"We always have a great time at the Hopetoun. The rooms are spacious, cosy and clean, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the food is always amazing! We look forward to going back - highly recommended!"

"Laura and her partner went out of their way to make things work for us when we encountered minor issues. Communication was excellent. The apartment is spacious, comfortable and we had all we needed. Very close to all the shops and eating places in Lanark. I loved the 'oldness' of the place although, I imagine, it might not suit some. The stairs kept us fit!! Would happily go back. A lovely part of Scotland."

"Good location; very economical; comfortable. A lack of tea and coffee in the room (the chamomile tea was welcome after the long drive). The wifi firewall blocked a few pages I would have liked to access (silly games - but online video streaming worked). I didn't take breakfast, but the offer was very welcome. Overall, a very pleasant stay."
