"Nice clean spacious room but the window in my room needs replacing as it was draughty and aloud in noise from outside, perhaps a few mushrooms would not go amiss with the breakfast apart from those minor qualms I would not hesitate to stay again."

"The bed was quite uncomfortable, the desk area had bits peeling off, and we had to pay an additional £5 for parking, which was unexpected. Definitely not worth the money. "

"Easy to find. Parking free and close to the hotel. Staff friendly and welcoming. Room was more of a suite than a room! Bed very comfortable so a really good place to stay. We were not bothered by poor reception for TV but this could be a concern for others. We enjoyed walking round the town and the inhouse meal rounded off our stay very nicely."

"This is an unbelievable property. Absolutely first-class from start to finish in a beautiful location that is a great base for access to Glasgow and Edinburgh. Everything you need for a comfortable stay is in the cottage, all amenities are there. The hosts, Cass and Charlie, are just the best too. Can't recommend Ampherlaw Farmhouse enough."
