Some basic shops and a fresh bakery around the corner and the location is away from the cruise ship areas. For this trip to Cozumel, I was traveling by myself for scuba diving. I used one of the loaner bicycles Laura has available and rode to the pier for my boat pick up each day. It was an easy 5-10 minute ride. After diving, I also could stop at one of the grocery stores in town to pick up anything I wanted that the local convenience store (OXXO) didn't have. The apartment is great for 1-2 people, and had all I needed - microwave, coffee maker (with filters!), 2 burner cooktop, pots, pans, utensils, towels, large balcony, and drying area for gear. The apartment looks brand new and was very comfortable! There are also some great local tacquerias and restaurants within walking distance.
