Comfortable Secluded Bungalow in Wooded Setting

9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (28)
"We had a very enjoyable stay at the Talisker Lodge. We stayed over the Christmas holiday. It felt so cosy… we enjoyed the log burner & loved how it was located in the woods. We saw lots of woodland wildlife inc a red squirrel & woodpeckers. The property encourages you to feed the wildlife. We arrived to a bucket of nuts & a bag of fat balls. We went out to buy more fatballs as the birds soon got through them. We really enjoyed watching all the birds & the squirrel that came. We’d love to return...

"A beautiful, spacious and well equipped home from home. Nice and warm when it was chilly outside. And the hot tub was an added bonus. A 20 minute walk to the shops and bars in Aviemore, and nice walks on the doorstep. Aviemore is a lovely place to stay, surrounded by mountains and lochs. A short drive or a regular bus to Rothiemurchus and Cairngorm Mountain Resort with lots of activities; walks, mountain biking, winter sports and more"
